Resetting OCU Passwords

Here are the instructions for resetting your passwords:

If you cannot access your OCU email account or Student Portal: follow Step 1.
If you cannot access your ELC online classroom: follow Step 2 (follow Step 1 THEN Step 2 if you do not remember your OCU email password).
If you cannot access your eTextbook: follow Step 3 (follow Step 1 THEN 3 if you do not remember your OCU email password).

Step 1. OCU Email Access / Student Portal Password Recovery
To reset your password for the Student Portal or your OCU email account you need to go to the Student Portal found under http://www.oak.edu > Current Students > Student Portal menu and use the recover your password option at the bottom of the portal login window. Setting your password here will reset your password for both the Student Portal as well as your OCU email (a Gmail account provided by OCU). Please give the portal a few minutes to make the change to your email account. Please note that the email address you enter in that Gmail account window will end in @myocu.oak.edu and NOT @gmail.com. You can have your emails forwarded from this account to another email address if you do not want to have to check the OCU email account in addition to your other accounts. OCU only sends students information through the OCU email address (i.e., business info, financial aid info, academic info, etc.). When you set your password it must have at least 8 characters consisting of at least 1 number, at least 1 lower case letter, at least 1 upper case letter, and at least 1 non-alphanumeric character.

Step 2. Online Classroom Password Recovery
To reset your password to access your online classroom in the ELC (Moodle) go to http://elearning.oak.edu and click the lost password option in the login block at the top right of that Web page. A temporary password will be sent to your OCU email account (a Gmail account provided by OCU). If you do not remember how to access your OCU email account, please see Step 1 above.

Step 3. eTextbook Password Recovery (if an eTextbook is provided as part of your program)
To reset your password for your eTexbooks with eCampus go to www.ecampus.com and select sign-in in the upper right of the page. There you will find an option to recover your password for your eCampus account. You can change your eTextbook password via this method at any time. eCampus sends a temporary password to your OCU email account (a Gmail account provided by OCU). If you do not remember how to access your OCU email account, please see Step 1 above.
